Geneseo Cross Country teams earn 2nd at WB6 meet

The GHS Boys’ Cross Country Team also placed second, also behind Quincy, at the WB6 Conference Meet at Hoover Park and Head Coach Todd Ehlert said, “Quincy was awesome and ran great to earn the win.” Three GHS runners were named First Team All-Conference – Justin Johnson placed 5th; Gavin Allison placed 6th; and Tyler Gehl came in 9th. Geneseo also had three runners named to Second Team All-Conference – Dylan Gehl placed 14th; Cooper Schaad, 16th; and Sam Mosbarger placed 19th. The Geneseo High School Cross Country runners finished second, behind Quincy, in the Western Big 6 Conference Meet held Friday at Hoover Park in Sterling. Jaide Flowers was named to All-Conference First Team and Lacey Laxton, Anna Snyder and Joselyn Reisner made All-Conference Second Team.
