Cambridge Hall of Fame inducts Jenny Clark

Jenny Clark of Cambridge, a 2006 graduate of Cambridge High School, was inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame Thursday, Dec. 22, during halftime of the Ridgewood boys’ basketball game.
Clark was the school’s third all-time scorer with 1,313 points. She was a two-time Area Player of the Year for the Dispatch and Rock Island Argus and a three-time first team all-Lincoln Conference honoree in basketball.
After high school, Clark was a four-year letter winner at St. Ambrose University, Davenport, Iowa.
While at St. Ambrose, Clark was named to the Midwest Collegiate All-Conference Team and Midwest Collegiate Conference Academic Team all four years. She was also named the Midwest Collegiate Conference Player of the Year for 2007-08.
Other college career highlights included ninth in points with 1,621; sixth in assists with 470; fourth in steals with 306; fifth in free throw percentage with 77 percent; first in three-pointers made in a season with 118; and first in three-pointers made in a single game with eight, five different times.
Clark graduated summa cum laude in 2010 from St. Ambrose with majors in exercise science and fitness and human performance with a minor in biology. She is currently in her second year of the doctorate of physical therapy program at St. Ambrose and will graduate in May 2012. She also works part time in the Alumni Department at the university.
