Miller named to All-Area football team

    Kevin Miller of Cambridge was named to the Register Mail All-Area Football Team.

    Miller, a senior kicker, at Cambridge High School plans to attend the United States Air Force Academy after graduation.

    His individual statistics or awards include: First team All-LTC kicker and academic all-LTC.

    Weston Heinz, Annawan/Wethersfield, is the best player he ever faced. His sports figure is Michael Vick. His favorite movie is Transformers and his favorite television show is The Big Bang Theory.

    Miller loves pizza and his favorite restaurant is the Olive Garden.

    His favorite singer/band is Blink 182. He is also a Cardinals fan.

    Other individuals named to the team were Brett Walker, Knoxville; Austin Allen, Bushnell-Prairie City/Avon; Darrek Ball, Austin Bolger, Nate Bolger, Mason Hillier, Treg Hughes, Ryan McCabe and Travis Windsor, all of North Fulton; Riley Cavanaugh and Dustin Hawk, both of West Central; Dakota Cox, Matt Geitner, Kenny Lee and Dillon Lehr, all of Knoxville; Brandon DeWitt,  Trent Ray and Josh Swedlund, all of Abingdon; Logan Douglas of United Red Storm; Martel Hunter of Monmouth-Roseville; and Jake Warner, Mid-County Cougars.
