Galva-Williamsfield pitcher Doubet named all-state

Galva/Williamsfield pitcher James Doubet was recently selected to the Class 1A All-State baseball team by the Illinois Baseball Coaches Association.

Doubet, a 2013 Williamsfield High School graduate, helped the Wildcats to a 15-8 season's record, posting a 7-2 record on the mound to go with a .410 batting average.

He teamed with his younger brother Tyler to help guide Galva-Williamsfield to the 1A Elite Eight with its first-ever regional and sectional baseball championships.
