The Geneseo girls’ soccer team never knows who is going to score next.

In the Lady Leafs’ season-opener, Geneseo had seven different players score during an 11-0 rout of Galesburg at the Geneseo Soccer Pitch on March 21.

The Lady Leafs’ Jenna Decker and Tori Verbeck each scored hat tricks.

The Geneseo offense was in control from the start building a 9-0 lead by halftime.

GHS’ Lainie Dahl, Rachel Daniels, Paige Gramling and Heather Dietrich all found the back net for the Leafs.

Taylor Magerkurth made a save to notch her first shutout in net, but the defense was solid limiting the Silver Streaks’ chances.

The Lady Leafs’ offense tore apart the stat sheet battering the Galesburg keeper with more than 30 shots on goal.

Geneseo’s next game will be a rematch between last season’s 2A sectional championship teams.

Geneseo will face Alleman at the Alleman Sports Complex Tuesday, March 28 at 6 p.m.
