Lady Leafs net another win

The Lady Leafs earned a 4-1 victory over Princeton Princeton at the Geneseo High School tennis courts on Sept. 10.

Geneseo swept the doubles matches with the Lady Leafs’ No. 1 doubles team of Emma Dunker and Mary Thomas earning a 6-3, 6-1 victory.

Geneseo’s Ava Bieneman and Alli Miller locked up a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, and Kaitlyn Webster and Ali Craig cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Geneseo’s Emily Henson won the No. 2 singles match 6-1, 6-1.

Geneseo dominated the frosh/soph matches winning 5-0.

Emily Roberts won the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-0, and Kat Eilers won 7-5, 6-1 in singles.

The Lady Leafs’ Emma Clays and Chloe Adams won the top doubles match 6-0, 6-1, and Emma Slaymaker and Henna Griffin cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory.

Geneseo’s Anne Turpin and Ali Rapps finished off the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 doubles win.
