OMS announces new Prairieland Conference tournament schedule

Orion Middle School has announced a new schedule for the Prairieland Conference tournament for boys' basketball teams at Monmouth-Roseville.

A snowstorm forced postponement of the first round on Thursday evening, Jan. 12.

The eighth grade Chargers, originally scheduled to play on Thursday, will now play on Saturday, Jan. 14. If they win, they will play in semifinals on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

Orion's seventh graders, who tied for first during the regular season, received a bye into semifinals. They will play on Wednesday.

The championship games will tip off on Thursday, January 19.
