Wake, memorial service scheduled for Wellesley High School student killed in skiing accident
A wake for Hannah Storm Randolph, a Wellesley High School freshman who died last week, will be held on March 2, and a memorial service will take place the following day.
The wake will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the George F. Doherty and Sons Funeral Home, located at 477 Washington St. in Wellesley. The memorial service will be held at St. Anne's in-the-Fields Episcopal Church, located at 147 Concord Road in Lincoln, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3.
Fifteen-year-old Randolph, who was visiting Copper Mountain in Colorado with her family, was killed in a skiing accident after veering off track and striking a tree on Sunday, Feb. 19.
In an email to the high school community, WHS Principal Andrew Keough described Randolph as "an extremely special person who touched all facets of our school. She was a gifted artist, musician, athlete, scholar, and most important someone who cared deeply for others. She will be missed terribly."
Guidance and grief counselors will be on hand once the high school reopens in its new building on Feb. 28.
